The Slingshot was in the R&D stage for 9 long years prior to deciding to release it to the public. The Slingshot is extremely stable, turns on a dime and is very fast.
The Slingshot Kit is cut from a CNC laser with exact precision. All skins are 1/16'' 3-ply birch aircraft grade plywood, and the frames are 1/8'' 3 ply birch plywood. The kit comes complete with ½” engine isolators. You can buy the kit with or without a fiberglass cowl. An instruction manual is available for download by clicking the link below.
The Slingshot has won many National Championships since it’s inception. The Gas Slingshot can be converted to a big block Nitro with a special mount from Stump Fab and it too has already won several National Championships!
